While we are waiting for Baby Z to make an appearance lets talk about what Tim and I did this weekend...
We did a little landscaping this past weekend, well Tim did a lot of it. I was there to talk him through it... :) When we moved into our house - this is what the back garden looked like -
Pretty right? You could pick out where things were and it was defintiley a nice little garden area. Over the last 3 years the tree you see blosoming in white grew and grew and grew until you could not even see what was under it anymore. We took the pond out because it was dirty water (even with adding a pump) and we could not keep it clean. You can kind of see that the tree is much bigger in the photo. I forgot to take a picture before Tim starteed chopping the tree up.

Tim had some help as well. Scribbles kept climbing branches as he was trying to cut them and then she would plop down under where he was working and roll around. On Sunday we worked at removing the stones from around the bed. Tim thinks it is much easier to mow without the rocks there and most of them were buried anyway. Here is the area that used to have the small pond in it from the original photo. Tim made a rock garden - there were sooo many rocks. 
Creeper in the photo... Tim put hay down and mulch and now it looks amazing :) I am sure it will look much better when our grass is not all burnt - we need rain here desperately! We have talked about that project so many times I am glad it is finally done.
