Mason says Hello on this Ash Wednesday. I have decided to give up ordering out at work & ice cream. Yes I just said ice cream and if anyone reading this knows me they know that is a HUGE thing. I know I can do it for a month and a half.*************
Yesterday morning he looked so peaceful I did not want to wake him. I usually go into his room, turn the light on, and give him a few minutes to wake up. Yesterday he covered his head with the blankets like his daddy does and then he just rolled over and kept sleeping.
It pained me to wake him... I like when he is peaceful, but it was time to go to daycare.Yesterday Mason got some mail yesterday...
He got his first valentines!*************
I have started the week off great with exercise. I got on the treadmill for 70 minutes yesterday. I walked 4.0 miles at 3.5 mph at a 7% incline. I remember in August, a few weeks after having Mason, I thought I would never get back up to 3.5 mph. That seemed like a far off dream!
I had another NSV this morning! There are three girls working with one guy today and we decided to wear stripes because he said they were too loud one day. Well the only a striped type shirt I have is a button up from American Eagle. It is a size Large. When I started this weight loss journey in 2011 I was a size XXL in AE. Before getting pregnant I fit into the Large and I was so proud of myself. I put the shirt on today and it fits for the most part. My chest is still a little big, but it fits and I am wearing it unbuttoned (with a shirt under it). When it did not fit before my upper arms were too big for it is and I could not even get it on.
I have realized that it is not just the scale that should rule your weight loss, but the clothes that fit better and the way you feel.
