11 Random Facts:
- I love green! My husband thinks I have an obsession - my wedding would have been in green and purple, but I was trying to prove him wrong
- I would love to be a full time party planner. I love planning parties.
- I cannot tell when people look like other people. Example: I have no idea who Mason looks like. I think he has my nose, but that is about all I can tell. Why can other people see it and not me?
- I am a planner, I have a calendar in my phone and I also like to have a paper calendar in my purse. I plan out my vacation time for the year for the most part.
- I love my job - I am a 911 dispatcher and I can actually say that I like what I do.
- Now that I have a child, I love grocery shopping - It is my "me" time.
- I have been battling my weight since I was in elementary school.
- I love Christmas time - the whole month of December.
- I have a dog and a cat that act like they are humans. I don't think they know they are animals.
- I love to water ski & I was not happy when I could not do it at all this past summer
- I met my husband at a car accident we were both at with EMS.

Why did you start blogging?
I started blogging because I wanted to document my weight loss journey. I wanted to get my story out there and I figured it might help me stay accountable. Now I also want to document my journey and life, but also to help someone else if they are in the same situation.
What is your dream vacation?
I would love to take an Alaskan Cruise.
What is your favorite song?
My favorite song... hmmm... Me & You by Kenny Chesney is pretty high on the list because it is our wedding song and George Strait's Our love is Unconditional.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I see myself as a mom to 3 children, living in a home my husband and I will grow old in. I see myself in the same job I am in now. The retirement is good, the benefits are great, and I enjoy what I do. I wish I could get into a field using my degree, but I do not want to take a pay cut.
If you had a million dollars what would you do with it?
I would pay off my home and then sell it. I would buy a new house with all the features that I would want in a home. I would pay off my mom's bills and her home so she would not have to worry anymore. I would set up a college fund and a savings account for Mason. I would put a good chunk in a retirement account for Tim & I.
What do you hope to accomplish in 2013?
I hope to lose at least 40 lbs & budget my money better
What is your biggest challenge in life?
My weight & learning to be a parent
What is your favorite book?
I love reading so it is hard to pick my favorite. I like anything by Nicholas Sparks.
I also really like this book. I could read it every year. Christmas is my favorite time of year and I love that these stories make Santa real.Your life is going to become a script for a movie. Who would you want to play you?
We don't have the same hair color, height, or features, but I love Reese Witherspoon.
What is your favorite season of the year?
I love fall. I love the colors and the weather. I like wearing jeans and sweatshirts. I LOVE the foliage and being from the northeast it is amazing the colors that come out.
What is the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you?
That is a tough one. Nothing really sticks out in my mind. I told my supervisor that I loved him one day. His name is Tim and I was talking to him on the phone and went to say goodbye and it just came out. Oops.
