Happy Labor Day! Tim is home today so we are enjoying a nice relaxing day at home. I have the best husband, he got up with Mason at 8 and let me sleep. I slept until 9 and it felt great!

Not only did I get to sleep in a little, I got to have a little over an hour to myself on the treadmill. I walked 3.5 miles, 3.2 mph at a 6.5% incline. I feel great now and I am so happy I got a walk in today. I am amazed at the difference just a few weeks makes. When I tried to walk two weeks after Mason was born I felt like I had done too much. I would have to take some Advil and relax the rest of the day. Now I feel great, I think I am almost back to 100%.

I wish I had asked Tim to get a picture of my outfit yesterday. I fit back into my jean capris for the first time yesterday and I wore a short-sleeved sweater that I had bought last month in hopes of wearing it when I was feeling better. Tim and I had a great afternoon to ourselves. Mason went to his grandparents and we went to Albany. We had an early dinner at Red Robin and we went to a few places to get things we needed. We pretty much bought things we needed for Mason, but it was night to have a date afternoon.

On another note, look what came in the mail the other day...

The Pump Ease Hands Free Pumping Bra. I did not like having my hands free when I was pumping. When I was home alone I would pump one side at a time so I would have a hand free to soothe Mason. Now I have both hands free! I can eat breakfast or lunch while pumping now instead of waiting until after. I love this bra. It is great. I would have to say the the sizing chart is correct - follow it. I almost ordered an XL, but after reading the reviews and the chart I went with the large. I may have even gone for a medium not that I have tried it, but the large works. I like the design as well.
This is coming very useful for me. I have been exclusively pumping for the last two weeks. I find it easier and it is not as frustrating for me. I also like knowing how much Mason is eating at each feeding. It eliminates the question: Is he still hungry? when he is fussy after eating. After speaking with the doctor the other day I think we have found the reason I was having a tough time nursing him - He is tongue tied which will prevent a proper latch. I am waiting to hear from an Ear, Nose, & Throat Doctor to schedule an appointment to get it fixed. It can cause speech problems later on, so it is best to get it fixed now.
